I’ve been using OpenAndroMaps for many years (with Locus Maps) and I’m very happy with them. I’d like to know if there is an easy way to add new categories of POI to an existing database, for example to add a list of EV charging stations?

Ev Charging Stations = means the ones for cars – is a problem of its own.
Even APPs spezial made for this fail cause of the many existin system, provider, payment plans.
Means including all that incredibel chaos with EV-Charging stations would do the job to show those – but you never can be shure that you could charge YOUR vehicle with YOUR charging/creditcard.

So, we dont include those.

Modifying POI-Database: Its a SQL-Lite DB so it should be possible using (eg) Python
