    i will try Brouter

Thats an amazing Router, if you have issues – dont give up. Its worth the effort.
You can use Brouter with Oruxmaps too.

Here is a howto, unfortunately in german language – maybe GTranslate is an option.

    English BRouter readme.txt

    Best regards

i would like to use eurovelo routes. do you know how to do it?

    Thats easy.

    Go to
    http://cycling.waymarkedtrails.org/#?map=8!47.4355!20.2039

Zoom to a place where you can see your favorite route.
In the right/lower corner of the browser-window click on the button “Routes”
All routes you can see on the map are now listet, chose the one you need (click it)
The detail-view of the route appears with a button to download the route as GPX-File
Transfer the GPX to your mobile device (Dropbox eg)
Import it in your favorite APP

    Done….

    However:
Most of the Eurovelo routes are part of the OperAndroMaps (as far as these routes are part of the OpenStreetmap). All you have to do is to install the Elevate rendertheme in your APP, activate the Cycle Overlay and follow the highlighted route.

    Hi Christian,

I am in the process of creating a website where I intend to store gpx data for all the major cycling routes (such as the Eurovelo routes) worldwide so that people can spend more time cycling the trails and less time surfing the net. May I use the gpx data for the Eurovelo routes supplied on your site? If so, who do I credit? I’m a little confused as to the rules of using such data, especially since has come from OpenStreetMaps. Either way, I fully intend to reference your site in a couple of places on my site and I hope it brings you some more traffic.

On an unrelated note, I discovered your maps last year before my first big cycling tour. They got me from one side of Europe to the other and worked like a charm every ‘step’ of the way. So thank you very much!!! I recommend your maps to everyone.

    Kind regards,

    Pete
