I have installed your maps covering Australian states into Oruxmaps (version 7.0.2). This has worked extremely well for the past 6 months. I love it! However yesterday after upgrading my phone (Moto g7) to Android 10 all the maps are now blank. I’ve tried a number of things with no success, including zooming in and out, re-centering the maps, trying different mapsforge themes and downloading the maps again. None of this made any difference.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    “Oruxmaps (version 7.0.2)”??
    Try 7.4.22 https://www.oruxmaps.com/cs/en/more/downloads
Or the version from Google PlayStore (7.5.8GP, i think)

Thanks for that Matthias. I ws reluctant to upgrade Oruxmaps as it always loses all my settings whenever I do that. However I took your suggestion and upgraded to 7.5.8GP. After repointing oruxmaps to my correct Maps folder and the Mapsforge themes folder all is good. So I appreciate your suggestion!

    Cheers

Strange, never happened to me. Please check back with the official OruxMaps Forum for that.

it also never happened to me, that i lose all my Orux-settings when upgrading.
Maybe because i use a “Profile” in OruxMaps which holds my settings? hmm, just a guess.

I use profiles in OM to experiment with different settings, easy switch back.
And it helped me when moving everything OruxMaps related (settings, database…) to a new phone.

In my case I hadn’t used Profiles. But I might have a look now that you’ve mentioned them. Thanks
