Gibt es für die Elevate 4.40RC_Winter bereits eine Legende ?

Es gilt weiterhin die vorhandene Legende, da sich bezüglich der Winter-Routen offensichtlich nichts geändert hat.

December 29, 2019 at 07:45 #32738solitoneParticipantKurzer Status zu Elevate 4.40RC:
Hab gestern die Wintersport-Tags in der neuen Elevate.xml ergänzt und mit der aktuellen Alpen-Karte getestet.
Die Wintertouren werden wie bisher dargestellt, allerdings sind die bekannten Probleme, vor allem Doubletten, immer noch vorhanden.
lg PeterHi, something weird happened to my account and I missed several months’ posts. What is the current state of the winter theme? Has it been integrated in Elevate or is it a separate theme? What is the latest version?
I’m testing Elevate4.40RC_Winter.xml_.zip (under Cartograph Pro) but it doesn’t show any map. Am I missing something?
Thanks
December 29, 2019 at 11:00 #32744Peter47ParticipantHi solitone,
The official released version of the so called “winter-fork” is here:
http://www.senotto.de/index.html?Tipps%20und%20Tricks&Tipps_Tricks/GPS/OAM_Winter/OAM_Winter.html
Basis is the Elevate/Elements 4.3.3.1
Testet on a Windows10-PC with “cruiser” and on a Android-Smartphone with “Oruxmaps”.
I used the actual OpenAndroMaps “Alps” map.
If you want to test with the release-candidate 4.4RC, to be sure to test with the actual version, I’ve attached it.
If you have problems with other software then cruiser or Oruxmaps, prease give me more details.

I’ve now tried to test Cartograph lite, but I didn’t find a way to setup the layer “Wintersport”.

Cartograph Pro
I’ve now tried to test Cartograph lite, but I didn’t find a way to setup the layer “Wintersport”.
To choose the layer click the brush icon and choose the map layer stile entry. Then from the drop down menu you can select the wintersport layer.
Thanks!

OK, I thought that it should work this way, but this functionality is only available in the PRO-Version.
December 29, 2019 at 21:14 #32757TobiasKeymasterOk, version 4.3.3.1 works, but RC version doesn’t.
Does the regular Elevate 4.4.0RC work with Cartograph? Are you using version 1 or 2?
I also tried the lite version, I can choose the overlays, but they don’t seem to work (one time it worked, the other times not).Developer of Elevate mapstyle

I’ve got a PRO-Version from Harald Meyer and did some testing:
– Elevate4.331 works fine, also with winter-extensions *1*
– Elevate4.40RC doesn’t work, shows only the map 🙁
*1* Cartograph does “zooming” the winter-routes, even though I’ve disabled zoomingDecember 30, 2019 at 18:56 #32761TobiasKeymaster– Elevate4.40RC doesn’t work, shows only the map
So no difference between Cartograph 2 Lite and Pro.
Strangely this seems not be connected to any changes in overlays (there were none), but some minor bugs – seems like I didn’t validate the last changes – and there were a lot. And Cartograph is reacting strangely to them, no other app I tested the RC had problems (OruxMaps, Locus, Cruiser). But at least I found some things which needed correction, and uploaded a new RC which works for me now (in Cartograph 2 Lite).Developer of Elevate mapstyle

December 30, 2019 at 19:14 #32769Peter47Participantfrom a pm, may be it is corrected:
Im RC XML File hat sich ein Fehler eingeschlichen (“dy” is 2 Mal definiert in Zeile 3352):
####
<pathText k=”ref” font-style=”normal” font-size=”10″ dy=”-2″ fill=”#777777″ stroke=”#E5FFFFFF” stroke-width=”2.5″ dy=”-2.5″
####December 30, 2019 at 19:18 #32771TobiasKeymasterYes, that was one of them, all corrected as noted above.

December 31, 2019 at 07:05 #32776solitoneParticipantOk, I tested latest RC on Cartograph 2.5.9 and it also works now, thanks!
Still, piste ways are misaligned to piste areas, as shown in the attached pic. Does this happen also in other apps?
December 31, 2019 at 11:01 #32780Peter47Participantpiste ways are misaligned to piste areas
This behaviour could be a point for discussion and possibly improvement.
The considerations, why I have implemented it that way, are:
==> piste ways are sometimes tagged along normal ways, so it makes sense to display them with an offset.
==> piste areas are normally tagged on big ares, p.e. on meadows between forests,
there ist no need for an offset, but this could be implemented easily.
To demonstrate this 2 examples from the Garmisch ski-resort.
