    Good morning
I reinstalled the “Alps_Ost” maps on OruxMaps with the usual procedure (Install Android on: O R U X Map + Pois). I noticed that compared to the 2019 file which took up around 1.3GB (_ML.poi, ML.map), this one weighs around 1.9GB (.osm.poi, .osm.map, .osm.db). It’s normal? I attach pictures. Thanks for the attention

    Files now include in addition

    – Locus POI file
    – Enhanced LIDAR contourdata in 10m / 1″ from @sonny

That ensures a much better quality of maps/pois but needs more space…..

    😉

You can delete the *.db file for each map.
    This is for Locus.
Orux needs only *.map and *.poi.

Thank you for the valuable information
So can you confirm that using Orux I can delete the “Alps_Ost_oam.osm.db” file? I would like to inform you that this last file has also remained in the internal memory folder after I correctly moved the other heavier files on the SD card with the Orux procedure. Best regards

Yes, that’s Locus only, see here:
