I downloaded the multi lingual map for Belgium the first time in combination with Elevate 4 (4.2.6.1) rendertheme. Both with quickinstall in Locus.
It really looks horrible on my high resolution Samsung Galaxy S8+. Streets are extremely wide on all zoom levels. They hide buildings and other nearby items. See attached screen dump with Elevate City theme selected.
I didn’t have that problem with non-multi lingual maps.
It is better on my Nokia 7 plus (lower resolution).

That’s a problem with limited support of the mapsforge format in Locus. Menion is working on it. Full explanation and further links here:
