I have a question to ask.
How do I know every time, the date of the OSM db data, that were used to generate your mapforge maps?

And then what’s the difference between your maps and these?

    Best regards 🙂

    Hi,

The maps at download.mapsforge.org are basic maps without contourlines, cycle/hike routes, aso..

The date of the OSM-db used for maps.

Well usually the db is 1-3 Days downloaded prior to finishing new maps.
So a map with date 4.4.2015 is rendered out of a db from 1-3.4 .2015

    Best regards, Christian

We build Mapsforge maps from Planet.osm with improved land polygons / coastlines from OpenStreetMap Data.

OpenAndroMaps maps (as Christian mentioned) have additional data on top of that.

    Hi,

South America is sheduled for begin of June.
If you have added lots of data to the OSM-Database it can be done earlier for a special map.

    Best regards,
    Christian
