Would it be welcomed to report typos and other translation issues? For example
https://www.openandromaps.org/en/license has “under the der”, it should be “under the”

It should be “(work, friends, etc.)”
Aso (=and so on) is never used in English but is a literal translation of the German usw. In English we use etc = et cetera, which is Latin.Voluntary and Velocity themes - https://voluntary.nichesite.org

May 9, 2018 at 19:12 #23454Viajero PerdidoParticipantOn the download pages: “The POI files are actually supported by…”
“Actually” should be “currently”. In English, “actually” never means “currently”; it only means “really” or “in reality”. It’s an easy error coming from Spanish (actualmente = currently), and maybe from German too.
BTW, the forum signup/password reset procedure is all in German, but thank goodness for Google Translate. 🙂

May 14, 2018 at 10:41 #23518AragornParticipantin https://www.openandromaps.org/en/map-basics-2/tag-mapping
Objekt -> object
aso will -> etc. will (in addition this sentence is not really clear – if I understood it correctly this tag mapping also defines mapping in remote areas, so what is defined in the first one? I guess that one is for Elevate and one for Elements)
EDIT: fixed fix according to message below

That’s not quite right, Aragorn. As previously, “aso” is intended to be short for “and so on” and is a bad translation of the German “usw”. It should be replaced by “etc.” which is Latin for “and so on”..
