The fill of the electricity substation at Grendon, UK does not display correctly although the way appears to be closed. Any ideas what is wrong here?
The fill is very pale blue in Elevate and not easy to see.

@Christian Could I bump this one please as it’s come up again on OSM Notes.
The area is filled correctly on OSM but not on OAM. The OAM version of the boundary way is not closed though the OSM one is.
So my tentative conclusion is that this is to do with the preprocessing for OAM.
    Two issues of note:
    1. The way marking the power=substation is also a barrier=fence
    2. The way marking power=substation is also part of two linear relationships. I know relationships require tricky preprocessing.
    Any ideas?

    </way>

So no idea whats going on here.
Maybe there is a node deleted on the way to final merged file.
I attached the merged file for this – please take a look if all nodes are included refered by the way.

    this is confusing.
The fence is part of TWO relations tagges as powerlines.

    A fence / area part of a line ?

That’s exactly what confused me. I’m not sure if that is even legal. I know you preprocess relationships and I wondered if that was the difference between OSM and OAM.
PS the relationship is the route of a power line not the power line itself, so the concept is not unreasonable.

PS The jagged fill is exactly as if the way is not closed – but the first and last nodes are the same, so it is closed. Is there anything in your logic that says a fence line is not an area (as there is with for example a highway)?

Definitly no, I only prozess Route-Relations, borders and add node-labels to some multipolygones (like lakes, housenumbers aso)

The fence as part of 2 line-relations is strange.
Mapsforge is not as forgiving on mapping-nonsense as Mapnik.
