Hi,

when two maps are „included“ one in the other, like for example Sardegna that is included in South-Italy, do they both have the same detail level, or are there some data present in „included“ map (in my example, Sardegna) but not present in the „encompassing“ map (in my example, South Italy).

In other words, is there any advantage to get also Sardegna map if we have already got South Italy map ?

The details are the same – it may happen that the contour lines of the overview maps are 20m step and in the detail map 10m (see map desc. in download table) and the details may appear at earlier zoom if you use the elements theme.
