Maps with date from 8.8.2018 onQuestion: I am now running the 8/8 map of course, and also the latest Theme 4.2.5 and I am looking at the street it all started with, in Locus Pro: I reckon the street is now not rendered correctly with ‚City‘: it is not shown as OneWay and the single cycleway is also not displayed.
When I switch to ‚Cycling‘, then the cw is displayed, but still not OneWay.
So there is still some issue here?Tobias is on vacance, lets wait till he is back.

You mean that the oneway arrows are missing? Seems like with the tagtransform the oneway=yes got lost (only for affected streets with cycleway tracks/lanes). Christian, can you look at this?
I could workaround this with the new cycleway-oneway tags, but general theme compatibility would be lost.Other things:
– only with cycling mapstyle enhanced cycleway information like lanes are shown, so other styles are not cluttered with this not very valuable information for non-cycling usage.
– For me the cycleway is displayed only on one side as was the goal here. I don’t show oneway arrows on cycleway lanes/tracks in general, is this necessary?Best regards,

Now it is inconsistent: in ‚City‘ normal cycle-lanes are shown (when there are cycle lanes on both sides of a 2way street). But the cycle-lane in a 1way street is not shown.
For me it’s consistent: seperate cycleways (highway=cycleway) are shown in Hiking/City mapstyles, cycleways that are an inherent part of a road (cycleway=*) are not shown, as I think that for walking it’s only necessary to see the separate ways, not the additional cycling infrastructure that are part of the roads.

TobiasMy view is that special arrows are required where the cycle track or way is contraflow, so either
– cycles allowed in reverse direction in a street that is one-way for other traffic
– a two way cycle track on one side of the road where track that would appear to be only one-way.

OK – @ChristianK, is it possible that oneway=yes is deleted in this process?
there was a „copy_unmatched“ – so the answer is (unfortunately) yes, sorry.
I hope that the „copy_all“ will have no side_effects“…The updated map of the Netherlands will be available end of next week.

Not entirely, but partly.
In the first case (contraflow cycle traffic in a one way street), I can successfully show the modified arrow in cycling styles in many cases. It depends however on the exact tags used. From recollection, if the lane or track is specified as opposite_lane or opposite_track, then the tag mapping does not work correctly as I have pointed out before.
In the second case (two way cycle traffic on one side of the street), is exactly as I have mentioned before and the tag mapping does not pick this up.Voluntary and Velocity themes - https://voluntary.nichesite.org

In terms of the map themes, I think the two headed arrows should be added to cycle themes where there is potential confusion as to what direction cycles are allowed in. This basically applies to contraflow cycle tracks or lanes, which may occur in one-way streets or if a two-way cycle.lane/track is shown on one side of a street.
My two previous points are described in https://www.openandromaps.org/en/oam-forums/topic/cycle-tracks-from-1-dec-2016/page/2/#post-15492 and are to do with the tag-transform. .
(a) At line 871 the test:<match mode="or" type="way"> <tag k="oneway" v="yes"/> </match>is not needed as the cycle track/lane at one side of a two-way road may usefully be tagged as not oneway.
(b) At (eg) line 963 the test<match mode="and" type="way"> <tag k="cycleway:left" v="opposite_lane"/> <tag k="cycleway:right" v="opposite_lane"/> </match>works if BOTH sides of the road have cycle lanes in the wrong direction, which is probably unlikely. A further set of transforms are needed for the more likely case where only ONE side of the road has a cycle lane/track in the wrong direction. In such cases we additionally need to set oneway:bicycle to no.
cycleway:left=opposite_lane -> oneway:bicycle=no -> cycleway:left=lane cycleway:right=opposite_lane -> oneway:bicycle=no -> cycleway:right=lane cycleway:left=opposite_track -> oneway:bicycle=no -> cycleway:left=track cycleway:right=opposite_track -> oneway:bicycle=no -> cycleway:right=trackHowever since I wrote this in the post referred to above, the Wiki recommendation has changed to (eg) cycleway:right=lane + cycleway:right:oneway=no which is a further and unwelcome complication.
