I would like more difference between highway = service and highway = unclassified. Maybe it is possible to make highway = unclassified toned in a different color. This is often a small paved road and should be yellow. Maybe it ispossible to control it yourself with themes.

If you mean in Elevate, yellow and orange are reservered to more important connecting roads. Those of lesser importance, that means unclassified, are as it is common in German maps, just white. The line thickness between service and unclassified differs, and service aren’t connecting roads anyway – so I’m not sure why it’s important to have a different color?

I have received a solution through the theme Voluntary which was exactly what I asked for. Know that there is a difference in the thickness of the roads but it can be a little difficult to see. When I ride MTB and motorcycle, I try to stay on the really small roads and then highway = service is perfect while highway = unclassified is a normal asphalt road. It certainly differs between different countries

I understand, so service is used in your area not just for access roads (usually dead end) but connecting roads? In OSM the only smaller connecting roads than unclassified should be highway=track (which are made for agricultural or forestry use), which are even smaller and have brown borders in Elevate, so it’s easier to distinguish them from unclassified.

In Elevate 4.4.2 service roads now have grey borders.
