Why does the simplifying process remove the bounds node? It’s a pity :S

Is there a way to easily fix this? It makes it really hard for automatizing the process.

I’m trying to add the bounds node but it’s hard for me.

Mmm interestingly now I can’t find anymore the issue. I’ve changed my code so it’s now using .osm.pbf instead of .osm files, for disk space reduction purposes. However, when trying to change back, the bounds node keep appearing after every process and the automation now works like a charm. Will come back if anything pops up, but looks like I’m done with this 🙂

Thank you again! You’ve helped a lot to improve the hiking app I’m working on, so now I’m able to pack in the map the contours as well!!!
