I use Locus Pro and openandromaps for hiking throughout the pacific northwest – Washington, Oregon, Idaho, etc.
Unfortunately, we have forest service roads throughout the same areas as non-motorized hiking paths. On OpenAndroMaps v4 and elevate, the forest roads are light tan color, while most hiking paths are light brown dotted. This makes it painful to distinguish the two without zooming in closely.

The elevate/elements themes only brightly color a few of the most popular trails in the region, while most trails are the difficult to see dark brown. I’ve attached a screenshot of what most trails look like.

Is there a theme that re-colors all hiking trails to a brighter, more distinct color? Or another solution? This would benefit USA users who don’t have their trails colored. Thank you!

So I learned that trails without „difficulty“ indicated are all brown colored. This is unfortunate since the vast majority of trails in Oregon and Washington don’t have a difficulty marked. Is there a way to customize/change the default brown to a different color?

    For me brown works fine.
You can change the color in the xml files, but in Elevate these are quite complex.
There are other themes which might suite your better, e.g. there’s an (incomplete link) list in the forum.
