OruxMaps up to 6.0.10 (for later versions Elevate 4 is recommended):

Manual install (advanced):
- Please make sure you downloaded "Elevate_OruxMaps.zip" (or L/XL variants, for those the installation is analogous)
- If it's an update of existing Elevate map styles: remove all old files and folders
- Unzip Elevate_Oruxmaps.zip with an Android file explorer to "../oruxmaps/mapstyles/" on your SD-Card or internal memory (depending on your device)
- You can choose in OruxMaps your own path for styles via "Menu", "Settings", "Maps", "Mapsforge settings" and "Mapsforge styles"
- In OruxMaps use "Menu", "Tweaks", "Mapsforge style" to choose the map style (Elevate_Hiking.xml or other variation)
- The font size and scale factors are already adjusted to the resolution, an additional multiplicator by the app is probably not necessary


Locus up to 3.9.0 (for later versions Elevate 4 is recommended):

- Please make sure you downloaded "Elevate_Locus.zip" (or L/XL variants, for those the installation is analogous)
- If it's an update of existing Elevate map styles: remove all old files and folders
- Unzip Elevate_Locus.zip with an Android file explorer to "../Locus/mapsVector/_themes/" on your SD-Card or internal memory (depending on your device)
- In Locus use the button for changing the map style that should appear at the bottom left side of the map if you load a vector map (if not, use "Menu", "Settings", "Map - control & panels", touch on "Onscreen Maps Themes Switch" below "Map screen - panels")
- If necessary hit "Show more" below "Internal themes" and touch the name of the map style, e.g. "Elevate"
- The font size is already adjusted to the resolution, an additional multiplicator by the app is probably not necessary

If you have problems, your directory structure should look somehthing like this for Locus:

- Wenn es ein Update von bisherigen Elevate Kartenstilen ist: lösche alle alten Dateien und Ordner
- Entpacke Elevate_Oruxmaps.zip mit einem Android Datei Explorer nach "../oruxmaps/mapstyles/" auf der SD-Karte oder im internen Speicher (kommt auf das Gerät an)
- Man kann selbst in OruxMaps auch den Pfad zu den Kartenstilen festlegen, via "Menü", "Einstellungen", "Karten", "Mapsforge settings" und "Mapsforge-Kartenstile"
- In OruxMaps über "Menü", "Anpassen", "Mapsforge-Kartenstile" den Kartenstil ausgewählen (Elevate_Hiking.xml oder eine Variante)
- Die Schriftgröße und Skalierungsfaktoren sind bereits an die Auflösung angepasst, ein zusätzlicher Multiplikator durch die App ist i.d.R. nicht notwendig

- Benutze in Locus den Button um den Kartenstil zu wechseln, der bei der Karte unten links erscheint wenn man eine Vektorkarte lädt (wenn nicht, drücke "Menü", "Einstellungen", "Karte - Bedienung & Leisten", wähle "Onscreen Maps Themes Switch" unterhalb von "Kartenbildschirm - Leisten")
- Wenn nötig, berühre "mehr..." am Ende von "Interne Themen" und wähle dann den Namen des Kartenstils, z.B. "Elevate"- Die Schriftgröße ist bereits an die Auflösung angepasst, ein zusätzlicher Multiplikator durch die App ist i.d.R. nicht notwendig

Wenn Probleme auftreten, die Ordnerstruktur sollte in etwas so aussehen:
