Hi guys,
I „simply“ wanted to paint a semitransparent area on top of everything. But roads and captions insist on staying on top.
<rule e="way" k="derwolf_daslamm_hurz" v="~" > <area fill="#60ffffff" /> </rule>
I added priority 1000, tried numerous things, but no success. Is it because MF may never allow area fill on top of captions etc.?
The example code is not perfect because it will stack up areas. Second problem is I couldn’t find distinct area fills which paint on top.
But in the screenshot you can at least see what I mean..

1. Priority does not apply to areas
2. Captions are on top of the rest of the mapVoluntary and Velocity themes - https://voluntary.nichesite.org

<rule e="way" k="landuse" v="*" > <area fill="#60ffffff" /> </rule>

There’s probably no landuse area where the road leaves the forest.
