    Hi Openandromaps,
thank you for all the job you do for all of us users, especially in developing the Mapsforge themes!
I noticed that some labels (both icons and written words) only appear from a certain zoom in level. And this is correct, otherwise the map would be crammed with elements at a low zoom.
However, some labels disappear at higher zoom levels. This seems strange and contradictory to me because at higher zoom there is much more space to accommodate the labels without them bothering to read the map.
Do you agree, or am I wrong?

There are some labels, such as „United Kingdom“ or „London“ that should only appear at low zooms. At high zooms there is no one obvious place to put them, and even if there were, it would not be very helpful. The traditional centre of London is Charing Cross but a label „London“ there would be silly at high zoom.

    Hi there
I have noticed the same. For example on guideposts. When zooming closer the guideposts sometimes disappears.

There’s an issue at borders of map tiles of mapsforge maps, so symbols/captions aren’t rendered if they are located there.

This has been resolved with the original mapsforge map viewer and the label layer, but most apps use only the mapsforge rendering engine, not the viewer, so these still have that issue.

When zooming in, at every additional zoom level what was one tile in the previous ZL is split in four new tiles, so more borders with the possibility of this issue exist.
Only zooming in/out can help here.
