[Emux]

I am happy to announce that I implemented native map rotation in the Mapsforge map engine.

A feature we’ve all been waiting for so many years:

It is already available to all Mapsforge developers and will also be included in the next Cruiser 5.

A preview can be seen in the attached screenshot.

The new Mapsforge engine with the map rotation is included in Cruiser 5 (Beta):

Map rotation is available in follow location mode (long press on location button) and navigation.

Hi Emux, fantastic news, but what has really surprised me is the new hill shading algorithm, a great job and an even better result. Congratulations on the work done !. Do we have any reference about the update date of the Mapsforge libraries, to be able to enjoy all this in other apps?.

Mapsforge has new hillshading algorithms and improvements contributed by the community.

There are still some improvements in hillshading. Then I will make a new Mapsforge release.
