Hi,

I incidently discovered that some POI completely „out of area“ were present in Alps-West poi file.
This file indeed contains in particular POIs for terminal ferry of Tanger, Oran and Barcelona…. Far from Alps-West zone…

This is not annoying at all, and doesn’t generate any problem using the file, but this may reveal a problem or a bug in POIs file generation mechanism, and then I thought it could be valuable for team to be aware of the issue.

Hi,

Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention.
We had an issue with the new limits of OSM-ID’s and osmconvert that could not handle this right earlier this year.

However, all POIs that I have checked are Part of a Relation that starts on the Map and we create all cuts with -complete-relation so its possible that this is the reason for Tanger Ferry Port to appear in the Alps-West Pois
Pfuhh….
I will take a brief look at this

So I added an additional cut after preparing und resolving POIs out of relations and this seems to solve the problem.
