Oh, my mistake – we already have values like „pc_1“ (for popcat), sorry!
No Problem

The Ireland map has appeared but the others are still the 23 October version. Is that right?Voluntary and Velocity themes - https://voluntary.nichesite.org

MichaelOktober 27, 2020 um 16:31 Uhr #40493JohnPercyTeilnehmerThe Ireland map is already the „new“ version, with pr,_1 etc rather than pc_1 etc.

Oktober 28, 2020 um 21:13 Uhr #40513TobiasAdministratorHere’s an Elevate test version for the new tagging, works for me:
https://www.openandromaps.org/wp-content/users/tobias/test/Elevate_beta.zip
As it doesn’t make a lot of sense to include the old tagging, I will release it when the normal maps with the tagging become available.Developer of Elevate mapstyle

This would mean that I have to rerender all maps.
Thats OK – however this process takes 3 weeks, so during this time protected_areas are only shown in new maps (after release of new theme) and vice versa.1 Teilnehmer(n) gefällt dieser Beitrag
Oktober 29, 2020 um 13:33 Uhr #40517TobiasAdministratorIf I include the old tagging the Wachau would show up again.
So just do the usual update schedule, no hurry for the release.Developer of Elevate mapstyle

Oktober 29, 2020 um 16:02 Uhr #40519ChristianKAdministratorOktober 29, 2020 um 16:26 Uhr #40521TobiasAdministratorNovember 30, 2020 um 00:04 Uhr #40799JohnPercyTeilnehmerHere are my test versions of the Voluntary themes for the new mapping. I have chosen to show most Protected Areas with a pale gold tint that gets lighter and more transparent as you zoom in so that details are not obscured. These include Nature Reserves, UK National Parks, UK Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Protected areas that are specifically out of bounds (access=private, for example) or category 1 are a pale red tone, fading on zoom in. Aboriginal lands are currently given the same treatment.
Attached is a zipped Locus version and a more general Mapsforge version that comes in five flavours:
* MF5 is functionally exactly the same as the Locus version apart from file locations (for historic reasons). I have tested it with Orux beta and Cruiser. I believe it will work with the latest paid-for Orux from the Google Playstore and any other apps that are compatible with Mapsforge 5 rendering.
* MF5- (note the minus) is intended for the latest Orux Free version from the Orux site, which does not render text along curved lines. This deals to some extent with missing contour numbers and other path text. But my advice is just to download Orux beta from the Orux forum and use that.
* MF4 is compatible with Mapsforge 4 rendering, for apps that do not scale dotted or dashed lines correctly.Voluntary and Velocity themes - https://voluntary.nichesite.org

November 30, 2020 um 09:54 Uhr #40804JohnPercyTeilnehmerAnd here (sorry) is the corrected version of the non-Locus themes. Only the MF5- version has changed since last night — I didn’t complete the downgrading conversion before uploading it.

Januar 5, 2021 um 07:39 Uhr #41268ChristianKAdministratorHallo @Tobias,
Ich werde Ende dieser Woche den ersten Batch der neuen Karten in einem Rutsch hochladen
-> Europa, Germany, Asia, Africa
Der Rest kommt dann Zug um Zug.
Ich denke das es nun unbedenklich ist die neue Version der Theme hochzuladen – bzw. die Fehlerquote sich in Grenzen halten wird.LG, Christian
