Hello map lovers,
I can’t render the names of MTB routes.
I use Android Locus and Linux RouteConverter because they are similar in rendering.
I’ve tried everything: mtb:name and name_loc don’t work

Only what is listed in tag-mapping is contained in the maps and can be rendered:
https://www.openandromaps.org/en/map-basics-2/tag-mapping

And only a limited number of tags can have open values in mapsforge maps, e.g. name=* can, mtb:name and name_loc can’t.

A Mapsforge SW library limitation, not an OAM limitation. The discussion about that is old in Mapsforge and it would mean a lot of work and fighting incompatibilities etc. etc., which is because they do not want to touch it.
Do I recall correctly, Christian and Tobias ?
