Questions to Tobias,
1)
can I change/rename items from the tagmappimg.xml via the stylefile? E.g.
<osm-tag key=’mtb_scale‘ value=’mtbs_0′ renderable=’false‘ />.
In order the get closer to the „4UMaps“ original appearance it would be nice to change the value „mtbs_0“ to „mtb 0“.
OR
add letters to an expression, e.g. the altitude from „560“ to „(560)“?2)
I attached an excerpt from the 4UMaps-Theme (Harz Mountains, west of Okerstausee)…and marked my issue. I’m not able to display the underground waterway as a line (only the name part) with all overlays on, no matter how desperate I tried!?!? But when I deselect the map background it shows it. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks in advance
Februar 12, 2024 um 21:24 Uhr #55408TobiasAdministratorWhy does the forum app do that…adding „*-1″…etc. to the file
Because „4UMaps.zip“ already exists in this thread, uploaded by you above. You have to delete it first if you want to upload a file with the same name. Or upload it to the same post.

Because it’s mapped with layer=-2 and has tunnel=flooded:

With tunnel=yes the layer tag would be deleted by tagtransform… Christian, can you add tunnel=flooded?Developer of Elevate mapstyle

Developer of Elevate mapstyle
Februar 17, 2024 um 22:54 Uhr #55424Mr TTeilnehmerHi Tobias,
habe jetzt die Locus Silver Version getest
und die Höhenschattierung aktiviert. Leider
sieht die Karte immer gleich aus.
Könnte es noch an etwas anderem liegen?

entdeckt. Durch zusätzliches Herunterladen
der Höhendaten sind jetzt auch die
Schattierungen vorhanden.

Layers at tunnels are deleted (resp. set to +2) only if „highway=*“ is present.
Should we stay with this or should we do a IF „highway|waterway=*“ AND „tunnel=yes|flooded|avalanche_protector“I added flooded as EQ for tunnel=yes

Should we stay with this or should we do a IF „highway|waterway=*“ AND „tunnel=yes|flooded|avalanche_protector“I think it makes sense to delete layers and NOT set to +2 so the theme creator can choose where they should be displayed – below landcover (if it’s transparent) or above it (and e.g. below roads).
But I would include those:
waterway=* OR man_made=pipeline
AND
tunnel=yes|flooded|culvert OR location=undergroundDeveloper of Elevate mapstyle
Ganz herzlichen Dank,
