In the current OAM home page, following the announcement of new maps with 10 m contour lines, there is a beautiful map with a red pointer in the middle and, just beside it, the ground elevation for that point, in red as well.
How can I get that useful function using OpenAndroMaps maps with elevate theme on OruxMaps?
    Thank you for any help!

That’s a function of the app (Locus), not the maps/theme. A variation of it is available in OruxMaps, see the attached screenshot, in the dashboard – altitude at cursor position is shown next to the mountain symbol with the D. You have to have DEM files installed for the area you are in, and have “Altitude (DEM)” checked in the dashboard setting.

    Thank you!
Is there a place in Openandromaps where it is possible to see the date of last update of the various maps?

The date when the map have been rendered is to be seen right in the line near the the mapname in the download list.
The date when the OpenStreeMap extract was made is to be seen when you klick on the “+” symbol left of the mapname an scoll down (see picture)

    Best regards
