What if I would like a given point to be visible at a smaller map zoom?

For example: “caves_entrance”
I’m trying to edit a file: elements.xml

Or pointy “ruins”
here we see more options, which one needs to be changed?

Elements usually shows all items in the maps as soon as they are available, so editing it doesn’t help. The zoom-appear of the tag-mapping of the maps are the limit:

Editing elevate.xml with the zoom-min parameter also does nothing. by default, the cave_entrance element has a zoom-min value of 14, but when editing elevate.xml, e.g. to 13 or 12, the elements do not appear unfortunately

As I wrote above: the zoom-appear of the tag mapping is the hard limit, editing the theme files doesn’t change that. You would need different maps.
