In recent days, controversy has grown around the proposal to change the primary key for archaeological sites.
“It is proposed to change the main key for archaeological sites from site_type=* to archaeological_site=*. This would apply to about 113,000 items.”
The new OpenStreetMap forum has been active in the last few days around 2 threads=
Mass key editing has already started and has been buggy, resulting in a series of changeset reverts.
Could MapsForge OAM production be affected?
Could Elevate rendering be affected?
Is there any contingency for what appears to be the start of a series of mass edits and reverts?

We only have the primary tag historic=archaeological_site in OAM, so this won’t change anything.
But thanks for informing, we can’t actively monitor all tags and changes in tagging customs.
