I had already asked, they replied that the work ahead was enormous, having to create from 0 libraries in c++
Here the reply:
If it is simple, you can repack also in .map , otherwise, thanks anyway, I’ll continue to use your maps only in oruxmaps

The App seems to use Garmin .img files, not .map.
It’s not possible to convert .map to .img, they have to be created from scratch and designed in the same fashion.
There are already other providers of free .img maps based on OSM. They may not contain the same details and look different, but in the end it’s based on the same data.

To revive an old topic, there is a way to use the OpenAndromaps on QmapShack software.
Document https://github.com/Maproom/qmapshack/wiki/DocBasicsMapDem#mapsforge-maps shows how to set up a local Mapsforge tile server and to make Mapsforge maps and in particular OpenAndroMaps available in QMapShack.March 31, 2020 at 16:53 #34558ChristianKKeymaster
I’ve been using for several months now
This is per se an Android_Emulator for game freaks, but in the latest version it works great with Playstore, GPS simulation, Intel virtualization (4 cores no problem)
ORUX and Locus run perfectly !!
Also Totalcommander with FTP/GDrive/Dropbox Plugin
Just give it a try and don’t mind the freaky website.
