    Hi,

in Elevate theme there is an option to hide the map background which prevents the rendering of all landuse polygons. This option is useful to allow the map to be rendered as an overlay over others maps, but also to serve as base layer and render other layers above it.
I’ve seen that, when the option is activated, rivers are not rendered. In my view, they should.

    Cheers

This option was added for having an overlay of roads/paths etc. on satellite images:

Rivers are already in the images and part of the natural environment, and not of interest in the use case. When I added the option I removed areas first and checked how it looked, and rivers/lakes etc. didn’t fit in at all as they are much brighter in Elevate than in Sat images.

my use case is the opposite, I use OAM map as a base layer and a couple of overlays. The setting is useful in this case as well to avoid colors of the overlays to be mixed with land use on the underneath map, but I understand your point.

    Cheers
