Hello, I did a fresh installation of OruxMaps (OruxMaps GP v.10.1.8) and downloaded Alps-west.zip but seems like OruxMaps is unable to use it: I tried to open it with OruxMaps and after some processing it says “unknown file format”.
Any clue on what’s happening?

Do you have unziped the map?

Best is to install the map via Quick Installation:

https://www.openandromaps.org/en/manual/orux-quick-installation

Oooops, my bad.
I mistakenly tried to install dietly the zip file instead of the Android install for oruxmaps.
Now it works fine.

Thanks for Feedback.

However, I would really recommend to install via Quick-Install.
Thats the way I do it.
It is convenient and failsave.

Same for the Theme.
