Elevate 5.3 is available for download. Now at least mapsforge 0.19 support by the app is necessary. Therefore Elevate 5.2 is still available as legacy vesrion.
With mapsforge 0.19 it’s now possible to show curved contour line or captions of contour lines that are oriented to the hillside.

All changes:

– now at least mapsforge 0.19 is required
– added curve=cubic for contour lines/low zoom routes, leisure=track with area=no, leisure=track based on multipolygon, area=no/based_on_rel=~, cycle_highways, orientation of countourline captions to hillside, amenity=public_bath
– optimized UK crags for different zoom levels, changed rendering for building names and housenumbers, zoom-min for landuse=residential/retail/commercial/industrial/brownfield, symbol for swimming_area, align-center=”yes” to position=”center”, aerial ways/funicular rail rendering, state/country/sea ocean caption rendering

A new Elevate version has been released which features mainly additions and optimizations of the maps of the last months.

– added cyclestreet/bicycle_road for cycling/MTB mapstyle, separate rendering for customer toilets, location=overground/overhead for pipelines
– changed color for local cycling routes, rendering for underground pipelines/waterways, rendering of highway refs
