New Locus version with support for switchable overlays
With the new Locus version 3.9.1 the support for switchable overlays, as in other apps with mapsforge 0.5, has been added. Therefore Elevate 3.0.2 has been released to make use of this feature also in Locus. Now all symbols, but also other, until now not available, overlays can be switched on or off.
This is how it works with Locus 3.9.1:
- install the new Elevate version
- then select Elevate as usual with the theme switcher
- then use the theme switcher again, select Elevate again – now an additional menu shows up in which you can select the map style (hiking, cycling or city) and the overlays
Starting with Locus 3.9.2 after selecting the theme a menu shows up that lets you choose the map style and overlays.
Thank you very much for all your work.
Maybe this time I didn’t understand the operation: I select Elevate the first time and it’s ok, but the second time I select it, menu (at least I think it’s the menu) appears for a moment then disappears leaving me again to the map. It happens with both Nexus 7 Cyanogen and Moto E stock.
However congratulations again for these years great work

Seems like a bug in Locus, when I hit the theme for the second time (with Moto G LTE stock) this screen appears:

Is this the same you get for only a short time?
The implentation in Locus is really new and not well tested, so maybe giving your feedback here might help:

I found a nice shortcut to add to the upper menu. This:

It works and also allows me to make less taps to get to the map style menu (if one wants to use space for an additional button)
Because of this problem I found a button I didn’t know before 🙂
However I’ll try to explain all to Locus forum
Thanks again
